Indications for Use
OpalDam and OpalDam Green resin barriers are unique, light-reflective, passively adhesive (sealing) light-cured resins. Their methacrylate base is designed with adequate strength to maintain a barrier yet removes easily from embrasures and undercuts. The contrasting green color of OpalDam Green resin barrier shows its location on the gingiva and teeth for more effective coverage.

Apply a barrier of OpalDam or OpalDam Green 4–6mm wide on the gingiva. Seal interproximal spaces. Overlap resin approximately 0.5mm onto dry enamel to seal. Extend resin one tooth beyond last tooth whitened. Light cure with a scanning motion for 20 seconds.

Remove cured resin quickly and easily in one piece or a few large pieces. Check interproximally for retained resin. OpalDam and OpalDam Green are designed to easily remove from embrasures and undercuts.
